UVM Health Network Porter Medical Center in Middlebury, VT, is seeking an Education & Infection Prevention Manager - RN to lead staff education and strengthen our infection prevention program. The role combines nursing education leadership with oversight of infection control to safeguard residents and colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or BSN, an active RN license, and an Infection Preventionist Certificate (or willingness to obtain it).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license (VT recognized).
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Infection Preventionist Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing or healthcare.
• Experience in education and/or infection prevention preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills; management experience a plus.

Location: Helen Porter Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing, Middlebury, Vermont

In this key leadership role, you'll design and implement engaging educational programs, mentor nursing staff, and ensure our team provides the highest quality care. You'll also serve as the facility's Infection Preventionist, overseeing infection control practices to keep our residents and team safe.

What You'll Do
