Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Site Coordinator-Ed Prep to support supervision, success, and retention of teacher candidates during clinical field experiences in EC-12 settings. This role coordinates field activities and ensures state certification requirements are met while serving as a liaison with district partners in a collaborative program.

The position emphasizes coaching, meetings, and program alignment, with a hybrid work schedule and ties to UNT-Provost and College of Education.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a relevant education field.
At least 3 years of EC12 classroom teaching experience in Texas.
Valid Texas teaching certificate and Texas principal certification.

Responsibilities

Supervise and evaluate teacher candidates in clinical placements.
Provide coaching and targeted support for professional growth and certification.
Coordinate and lead required meetings and trainings with district partners.
Serve as liaison between the university and school districts.
Collaborate with program leadership to monitor candidate progress.
Attend educator preparation trainings and program meetings.
Support candidate development activities including test prep and seminars.
