Job summary

HES is seeking a General Cleaner to support Asheboro City Schools facility cleaning needs. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks to maintain daily cleanliness and safety across assigned areas, following supervisor directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physically able to perform demanding cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpet, sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
• Clean windows, remove trash, recycle, and maintain surfaces.
• Polish exterior areas within 10 feet of entryways and care for floors.
• Follow custodial supervisor directions and work as part of a team.
