Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a General Cleaner for the Roxboro, NC area. The role involves cleaning and maintaining all assigned areas to ensure daily cleanliness and safety in an educational facility.

The ideal candidate will have a good work history, be team-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma is preferred but not required; ability to perform physical tasks and pass a background check is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, floor care, trash removal and general upkeep of assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms; maintain cleanliness of desks, walls, furniture, doors and entry glass.
• Clean windows and outdoor areas within 10 feet of entryways; follow supervisor directions and safety guidelines.
