Job summary

STV, Inc. in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Project Manager to lead Facilities and Operations Management for the Justice Sector.

You will oversee planning, design, execution, and completion of construction projects for safe and sustainable educational environments. You will manage budgets, schedules, and cross‑functional teams including architects, contractors, and school administrators, ensuring regulatory compliance and high quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or LEED AP preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
• Familiarity with school construction grant funding applications and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of construction projects including new schools, renovations, expansions, and facility improvements.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Lead pre-construction meetings to define goals and expectations.
• Coordinate with district personnel to align with objectives.
• Prepare and manage budgets and track expenses.
• Review invoices and payment applications; provide financial reporting.
• Lead project teams including architects, engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors.
• Serve as primary point of contact among stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes, zoning, and environmental standards.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies; manage changes to scope or budget.
• Monitor quality and conduct regular site visits; ensure successful handover.
