Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Education seeks an Education Equity Specialist (Education Consultant 3) to identify and eliminate barriers to racism and to transform education systems toward equitable access and outcomes.

You will develop and facilitate professional development for agency staff and external partners, lead conversations, and align actions with statewide equity goals, with hybrid telework up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience developing or leading equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within organizations.
• Experience developing and facilitating anti-racist, anti-bias and/or culturally responsive professional development.
• Experience coaching leaders and/or educators for the advancement of equity, diversity and/or inclusion efforts.
• Experience leading a project team or committees.
