Job summary

ASHP in Bethesda, MD is seeking an Education Director, Special Programs to oversee the successful operation of member programs and services. You will develop and maintain work tools, processes, systems, and program protocols to deliver impactful education for pharmacists and allied health professionals.

The role requires collaboration with the Office of Professional Development and Publishing to plan, execute, and assess educational projects, accreditation activities, and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Graduation from ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Pharmacy residency training and licensure preferred.
• Five years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Minimum five years in related project management or association management.

Responsibilities

• Develops high-quality, evidence-based educational content for live and enduring educational activities.
• Manages Continuing Education (CE) accreditation, pre/post tests, and outcomes analyses.
• Coordinates faculty recruitment, communications with stakeholders, and post-meeting summaries.
• Ensures compliance with ACCME, ACPE and other accrediting bodies; maintains documentation.
• Provides on-site meeting coordination and management as needed.
