Job summary

New York Preschool & Kids Club seeks an Education Director to lead program quality and curriculum execution, guiding teachers and ensuring high-quality, play-based learning aligned with NYPKC standards.

You will coach teachers, support onboarding, and collaborate with the Head of School on staffing, compliance, and operations, while staying connected with families and maintaining an outstanding school culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in ECE is required.
• NYS Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification (B-2 or 1-6) required.
• 3–5+ years of lead teaching in Pre-K or Kindergarten.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• Be a passionate teacher and lifelong learner.

Responsibilities

• Lead program quality and curriculum execution across classrooms.
• Coach and develop teachers through observations and feedback.
• Support onboarding and ongoing staff development.
• Ensure DOH licensing compliance and daily operations.
• Partner with families to communicate development.
• Foster a positive, professional school culture.
