Job summary

Wichita State Foundation and Alumni Engagement (WSUFAE) seeks a capable Director of Development for the College of Education. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward prospective donors to advance WSU’s education initiatives and impact.

A strong emphasis on building donor relationships and achieving annual fundraising targets is essential. You will collaborate with leadership to tailor cultivation plans, manage a focused portfolio of donors, and coordinate with marketing for impactful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience closing major gifts ($50,000+) or higher
• Willingness to travel with occasional weekend/evening duties
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Meet fund-raising objectives that may change year to year
• Professional image at all times

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate prospective donors and major gift candidates.
• Develop and maintain a donor pipeline through research, networking, and outreach.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute donor strategies.
• Manage a portfolio of individual donors to meet giving goals.
