The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking an Education Coordinator - Seasonal to manage and enhance the Community Center's education programs in Charleston, SC. This temporary full-time role focuses on coordinating the education program, recruiting volunteers, and promoting reading initiatives.
You will report to the Executive Director and Program Coordinator, preparing monthly stats and collaborating with the After School satellite programs.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Directly accountable to the Executive Director and Program Coordinator for the overall program of The Community Center which includes; planning and implementing education programs and working with volunteers.
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences or Education
or
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreation environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
