Location: Caldwell/CDC

Status: Exempt / Salary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Supervise teachers in implementing the Early Learning Outcome Framework (ELOF) and curricula.
  2. Train and mentor teachers in appropriate teaching strategies.
  3. Assist in coordinating Staff Development plans for teaching staff.
  4. Coordinate developmental screening and assessments.
  5. Support preschool teachers in implementing high-quality interactions as defined by CLASS or best practices for infant & toddler services.
  6. Coordinate data collection, analysis, communication, and dissemination.
  7. Oversee mental health and disability service delivery.
  8. Manage daily classroom staff schedules, including substituting when necessary.
  9. Conduct ongoing classroom monitoring.
  10. Establish relationships with local school districts, therapists, mental health providers, and childcare partners for advocacy and referrals.
  11. Complete record keeping and reporting as per timelines.
  12. Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.
  13. Supervise teachers and conduct annual performance evaluations.
  14. Ensure classrooms are stocked with necessary materials.
  15. Assist in coordinating parent meetings.
  16. Oversee the implementation of Fatherhood activities.
  17. Maintain confidentiality of clients and records.
  18. Perform duties professionally, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  19. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety practices, and regulations.
  20. Mentor teachers and participate in their performance evaluations.
Qualifications
Required
  • Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field, or 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass physical, background checks, and obtain necessary clearances.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
Preferred
  • CLASS certification.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Frequent movement including standing, walking, sitting, stooping, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in office or classroom settings with moderate to high noise levels.
