Job summary

Child Development Schools seeks an Education Coordinator to drive educational excellence across our centers. You will collaborate with teachers to plan, teach, and implement the HighReach Learning curriculum, support curriculum development, and mentor staff to deliver engaging learning experiences for children and families.

You will observe classrooms, use tools like ITERS-R, ECERS-R, SACERS, and ECERS-3 to guide improvements, provide constructive feedback, and help with new employee training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to plan, teach, and implement the HighReach Learning curriculum and activity plans across all age groups.
• Support teacher and family retention by providing resources, knowledge, and support to educators.
• Evaluate classroom environments using assessment tools such as ITERS-R, ITERS-3, ECERS-R, ECERS-3, and SACERS, and provide recommendations to improve program quality.
• Provide constructive feedback to teachers, fostering continuous improvement in classroom practices and services.
• Conduct formal and informal classroom observations, sharing feedback with teachers and administration to recognize best practices and identify areas for growth.
• Foster positive interactions between staff and children, promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment.
• Assist with new employee training and mentorship, ensuring staff has the skills and resources to succeed.
• Attend monthly Education Coordinator calls or watch recordings to stay aligned with company goals and best practices.
• Contribute to a welcoming environment for children, families, and teachers, supporting overall morale and community engagement
