Justice Resource Institute Inc. is seeking an Education Coordinator to support students in a residential treatment setting in Concord, MA. The role emphasizes supervision, report writing, and 1:1 student support within an intra-therapeutic milieu.

The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime. Pay ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and licensure, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Special Education license preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year experience as a supervisor and administrator
• At least 3 years of experience working in Special Education with young adults with emotional disabilities
• Candidates with experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or treatment program are preferred.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Support students and staff in the classrooms and residential milieu as needed.
• Complete primary duties include compiling written reports (including IEP progress reports, treatment reports, rounds), covering classes for teachers when they are out, supporting students 1:1 as needed, and supporting the Education Director with tasks as needed.
• Support students before school at breakfast, and on non-school days in the milieu, through providing student supervision, educational groups and educational field trips as appropriate for individuals/groups of students.

Walden Street Schoolis a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.Walden provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM

The position is full time Monday through Friday with overtime available as needed. Reports directly to Director of Education/Assistant Program Director. This position is ideal for someone interested in special education, particularly with students with mental health struggles.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $28.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

JRI Provides The Training So That:

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Special Education license preferred but not required.
