Job summary

Archer invites a results-oriented leader to guide a distributed Education Consulting Services team supporting Vanguard retirement plan participants. The role blends in-person and virtual delivery, coaching, and strategic partnerships to elevate participant engagement and sponsor relationships.

The ideal candidate will manage capacity, travel, budgets, and risk while driving education solutions across nationwide client segments, ensuring high-quality interactions and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in financial services, retirement, education or client service.
• Experience leading teams and engaging with plan sponsors and client relationship teams.
• Strong track record of developing talent and delivering measurable results.
• Experience leading hybrid/geographically distributed teams across in-person and virtual delivery.
• Executive presence, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to connect client priorities to participant and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a hybrid team delivering in-person and virtual education experiences.
• Set clear performance expectations and foster a high-accountability culture.
• Partner with coaches to strengthen consultative skills and presentation effectiveness.
• Collaborate with client teams to shape sponsor engagement strategies and demonstrate value.
• Engage plan sponsors to understand priorities and communicate outcomes.
• Utilize insights to identify trends and evolve the service model and content.
• Plan staffing, capacity, scheduling, travel, and budgets for distributed teams.
• Develop education experiences and content across channels to inspire action.
• Lead change initiatives to improve participant outcomes and business results.
• Maintain knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and regulatory considerations.
