Job summary

Vanguard in Malvern is seeking a Team Leader for Education Consulting Services to guide a distributed team delivering in-person and virtual education to retirement plan participants. You will coach, translate insights into stronger engagement strategies, and partner with internal client teams to shape sponsor engagement and demonstrate the value of our work.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in financial services education or retirement services, leads hybrid teams, and holds Series 7/63/65/66/24

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of related experience in financial services, retirement, education, advice, client service, or a comparable participant-facing environment.
• Experience leading hybrid and geographically distributed teams delivering in-person and virtual education.
• Strong track record of developing talent and delivering measurable results.
• Experience engaging plan sponsors and client relationship teams in retirement/recordkeeping.
• Series 7, 63, 65/66 & 24 licenses required upon entering the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a hybrid team of consultants and presenters delivering in-person and virtual experiences.
• Set performance expectations and foster a high-accountability, inclusive culture with coaching and feedback.
• Partner with engagement coaches to strengthen consultative skills and presentation effectiveness.
• Shape plan sponsor engagement strategies that align education to client objectives.
• Engage plan sponsors to understand priorities and communicate outcomes.
• Use insights to identify trends, measure impact, and evolve the service model.
• Translate priorities into staffing, capacity, travel, and budget plans across distributed teams.
• Collaborate to improve education experiences and materials for seamless participant journeys.
• Lead change initiatives to improve participant outcomes and business results.
• Maintain knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, services and regulatory considerations.
