Job summary

Alpha School is seeking an Education Coach to lead high-energy life-skills workshops for K-8 students and coach them toward ambitious weekly goals. You will use Coachbot analytics to monitor progress, provide targeted coaching, and help students build confidence, resilience, and ownership beyond traditional instruction.

The role emphasizes in-person coaching across multiple campuses. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years working with K-8 students are required, along with authorization to work in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience working directly with K-8 students through teaching, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, camp leadership, or youth programs.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Leading high-energy, one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students and developing durable skills.
• Coaching students individually and in small groups using analytics to help every student achieve weekly goals.
• Assessing life skill mastery through assessments and providing targeted coaching until genuine competence is shown.
• Adapting coaching style for different ages while maintaining engagement and accountability.
• Analyzing weekly performance data to identify patterns and improve outcomes for the cohort.
