Job summary

The Director of Education at Jobot is responsible for the overall operations of the Academic Department at the campus, ensuring compliance with institutional, accreditation, state, and federal policies and regulations, as well as internal standards, policies, and procedures.

The Director of Education serves as a member of the Campus Leadership Team and supervises the Academic team, including the Academic Administrative Assistant/Registrar, Library/Learning Resource Center Point of Contact,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent in education admin.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in educational administration.
• Minimum 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in New Student Orientation each term.
• Provide academic counseling and develop academic plans for students on probation.
• Oversee Program Directors and academic advising staff.
• Lead the Academic Review Committee and manage hearings and reports.
• Maintain master schedule of classes and ensure scheduling across modalities.
• Oversee library resources and distance learning coordination.
• Ensure integrity of academic record-keeping and compliance with regulations.
