Job summary

Cedarcrest Inc. is seeking an Education Assistant/LNA to support students in a school setting in Keene, NH. You will assist teachers with educational programming while addressing medical needs under nursing staff supervision.

A current LNA license is required or enrollment in Cedarcrest's LNA course. High school diploma required; associate degree preferred. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure a safe, engaging classroom and participate in holiday coverage as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) licensure is required or willingness to enroll.
• Graduation from an associate degree program, preferably in Education, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Occupational Therapist Assistant.
• Paraprofessional certification is preferred.
• High school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the classroom teacher in implementing the educational program.
• Assists students with medical needs per LNA responsibilities and therapy guidance.
• Monitors students' medical status and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Provides care support and assistance with personal care and daily activities.
• Assists with classroom planning, materials, and progress notes.
