Job summary

COLORADO INSTITUTE OF MASSAGE THERA is seeking an Education Assistant to work with the Education team in guiding and assisting students. The role focuses on following policies, supporting instructors, and upholding professional standards in a massage-therapy education environment.

Responsibilities include orientation support, attendance at monthly meetings, and providing materials while ensuring proper forms are signed.

Qualifications

• H.S. degree or equivalent is required.
• Experience with MS Office and basic computer literacy.
• MT license is required.

Job Title: Education Assistant Reports to: Education Administrator

Primary purpose: Work cohesively with other members of Education to guide and assist students as appropriate.

Job duties include:

• Follow up assuring policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Offering contributing skills that complement those of other team members.
• Observe student behavior, punctuality, professionalism and dress.
• Demonstrates CIMT's values and behaviors every day.
• Expressing and relaying information clearly and with the highest level of character and professional attitude.
• Other duties in education as assigned
• Potential responsibilities include student clinic instructor, sports coordination, compliance, faculty manager, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in new student orientation for incoming classes, provide materials and obtain signed forms.
• Attend and contribute to monthly meetings.
• Massage coverage fill-in as needed (will compensate).
• Duties as assigned.

Qualifications: H.S. degree or equivalent. Experience with MS Office and computer literacy. MT license is required.
