Imagine Learning in the United States is hiring an AI Engineer to advance education through AI-powered R&D. You will prototype AI applications, turn ideas into reliable software, and collaborate with product and research teams on a small, entrepreneurial team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in CS or related field and 5+ years in software/ML, strong Python or TypeScript, APIs, cloud services, and security awareness.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; 5+ years software or ML experience.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications with tool use, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Strong Python or TypeScript skills; API, async code, data models, testing, cloud services, debugging.
• Practical understanding of sandboxing, access controls, secrets management, and security risks.

Responsabilidades

• Prototype AI applications and agentic workflows using model APIs.
• Compare models and architectures; apply tool adaptations when advantageous.
• Build evaluation datasets, automated checks, and human review workflows.
• Diagnose failures with traces; improve grounding, tool reliability and context handling.
• Design sandboxed execution with least privilege and secret protection.
