Job summary

Millersville University seeks an Assistant Director of Education Abroad & International Services to lead study abroad programs and support international student initiatives. The role oversees Terra Dotta, risk management, and crisis response, collaborating with faculty and staff across divisions.

The position reports to the AVP of International Programs and Global Engagement and serves MU's undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree international students and J-1 scholars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international education, higher education administration, public administration or related field.
• Professional work experience in international education.
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Education Abroad Advisor for study abroad programs (exchange, partner, faculty-led).
• Manage marketing and access initiatives for education abroad.
• Oversee risk management and export controls for international programs.
• Coordinate with ISSI and Education Abroad for student and scholar services.
• Assist with office operations, admissions processing and events.
