Washoe County School District seeks an Educational Technology Specialist to assist staff and students with technology in the computer lab, manage inventory, and support basic IT tasks. The role includes software installation, imaging, password resets, and coordinating lab readiness for lessons.

The position emphasizes classroom support, instruction assistance, and maintaining safe, orderly tech environments in alignment with district policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in computer operations desirable.
One year of computer support and student instructional activity experience preferred.
HQ: 48 sem hours, associate degree, or ETS ParaPro score 460 or higher.

Responsibilities

Assist staff in instructional activities and basic technical issues in the computer lab.
Install software and updates, image computers, reset passwords, and manage lab inventory.
Provide basic tech support for computers, printers, and interactive whiteboards; assist with SBAC duties.
