Bellevue School District is seeking a Technology Specialist to support school-based technology use for students and staff. You will set up computers, configure hardware, troubleshoot issues, and help manage inventory across schools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience supporting users with computers, peripherals, and software.
• Willingness to train staff and students; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set up, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software in classrooms and labs.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and assists with set up of computers and related equipment in an assigned school; loads and upgrades software.
• Configures and installs computers in stand-alone and networked environments.
• Conducts first line troubleshooting of computers and peripherals for staff and students.
• Maintains inventory of computers, software, peripherals and related equipment; conducts annual inventory and maintains repairs database.
• Provides basic computer support to staff and students; trains in basic operational skills as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of hardware and software; makes recommendations as appropriate.
• Participates in district technology committees and training sessions.
• Assists in coordinating school-wide collection and distribution of student laptops.
