Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Solutions Architect for EdTech ISVs to help ISVs reimagine products on AWS, focusing on generative AI, agentic patterns, and data foundations in privacy-sensitive education environments.

You will own technical relationships with EdTech ISVs, guide architecture decisions, and help productionize AI prototypes at scale for K-12 and higher education customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical engagement and outcomes for a portfolio of EdTech ISV accounts, from discovery through production scale.
• Lead technical deep-dives, whiteboarding sessions, and executive briefings.
• Guide foundational architecture decisions across compute, storage, networking, identity, and databases, helping customers choose between EC2, EKS, ECS, and Lambda, and across RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and analytics services for the workload at hand.
• Lead architecture and design conversations on generative AI applications built on Amazon Bedrock, including agentic patterns, retrieval, evaluations, and guardrails appropriate for education workloads handling student data.
