Job summary

ATLAS, a KU research center, is seeking a New Product Development Lead to guide its strategy and lead multidisciplinary teams creating new education products.

You will develop agile practices, conduct market research, oversee testing, and build cost models and communications to bring ATLAS K-12 products to market, collaborating across departments and partners. Travel to Lawrence may be required.

Qualifications

• Masters in educational technology, special education, curriculum & instruction, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's with 6 years of experience.
• One year of experience using agile development methods in K-12 educational products.
• One year of experience on collaborative teams to co-develop and test new products.
• One year of experience overseeing projects with strong organizational skills.
• One year of experience communicating with internal/external audiences about strategy and new products.
• One year of experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience adapting to changes in work priorities and processes.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams to design, test, develop and create new products.
• Coach teams in agile product development methods and improve ATLAS' development methods.
• Lead new product development strategy in collaboration with center leadership.
• Externally communicate ATLAS products and services to diverse audiences.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
