Job summary

The University of Kansas, through its ATLAS center, seeks a New Product Development Lead to drive the center’s strategy and guide multidisciplinary teams in creating assessment, instruction, and educational technology products. The role emphasizes agile methods, market research, and iterative testing across K-12 education projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and four years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with six years of relevant experience.
• One year of experience using agile development methods in K-12 educational products.
• One year of experience working on collaborative teams to co-develop and test new products.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaborative, multidisciplinary project teams to design, test, develop and create new products in alignment with ATLAS’ strategy.
• Within a matrixed organization, lead continuous improvement of ATLAS’ new product development methods and coach teams in agile product development.
• Lead new product development strategy for ATLAS and work with center leadership to pursue strategic products.
• External communication to a variety of external audiences about ATLAS products and services.
• Special projects/other duties as assigned.
