Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a university setting.
• Experience managing a team.
• Ability to delegate tasks.
• Significant experience with Syracuse University enterprise systems (Blackboard, Playposit and MS Teams).
• Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to train others.
• Familiarity with ADA accessibility for online learning.
• Experience supporting faculty and students in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and mentors a team of Course Builders.
• Identifies resource needs and reports to the Associate Director.
• Ensures consistency and quality of courses and deadlines.
• Refines production processes and provides feedback to the team.
• Leads training and technical documentation for online courses.
• Collaborates with other team leads and oversees LMS deployment and troubleshooting.
• Oversees accessibility and ADA compliance in online learning.
