Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Technology Integration Specialist to help educational institutions in Welkom, Free State, integrate digital tools into teaching and learning. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits, empowering educators and students through effective EdTech adoption.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in educational technology, strong LMS expertise, and proven PD delivery skills, with willingness to travel regionally and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in educational technology, instructional design, or a similar role.
• Proven experience delivering professional development and training to educators.
• In-depth knowledge of LMS platforms and educational software.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and how technology can enhance teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation on integrating educational technology into curricula.
• Design and deliver professional development workshops for educators on EdTech tools.
• Develop guidelines and resources for effective technology integration in teaching and learning.
• Assist educators in selecting and implementing appropriate digital tools to meet learning objectives.
• Troubleshoot tech issues related to educational software and hardware.
• Stay current with EdTech trends and innovations and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with administrators and IT to develop technology integration plans.
• Evaluate ROI and impact of technology initiatives.
• Support digital citizenship and online safety curricula.
