About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking educational consultancy based in Rustenburg, North West , is searching for an innovative Educational Technology Specialist. This role is crucial in advising and implementing cutting-edge technology solutions to enhance teaching and learning experiences across various educational institutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at integrating digital tools, platforms, and strategies to support pedagogical goals and improve student engagement and outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess the technology needs of educational institutions and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Support the implementation and integration of new learning management systems (LMS) and educational software.
• Develop digital learning resources and guides for students and faculty.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support for educational technology platforms.

• Collaborate with IT departments and curriculum developers to ensure seamless technology integration.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented technology solutions and provide recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in educational technology, instructional design, or a similar role.
• Proven experience with various learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and digital learning tools.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and how technology can enhance them.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to software and hardware.
• Knowledge of online safety and data privacy regulations in education.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience working with clients in the Rustenburg, North West region or similar educational contexts is a plus.
