Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support mid-size Pennsylvania districts with successful IXL implementations. You’ll partner with district leaders, deliver high‑quality PD, and travel regionally as needed to support adoption and ongoing usage.

The role emphasizes instructional leadership, collaboration with educators, and data‑driven planning to improve student outcomes. Remote position for Pittsburgh residents, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience teaching in a K-12 setting; instructional coaching, school leadership, or edtech PD experience strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience providing professional development
• Experience supporting district implementations strongly preferred
• Exceptional presentation skills; comfortable presenting to teachers and administrators
• Excellent interpersonal skills—dynamic, enthusiastic, upbeat individual who connects well with others and has a positive, collaborative attitude
• Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, from start to finish
• Self-starter and quick learner with a passion for improving education through technology
• Strategic thinker and problem-solver
• Must live close to a major airport

Responsibilities

• Partner with district leaders to provide implementation support to mid-size districts
• Collaborate with school and district partners to create and implement a professional development plan that supports a successful IXL implementation
• Travel regionally to support assigned districts, including facilitating in-person professional development and conducting quarterly visits —up to 60% possible travel during back-to-school season and up to 40% the remainder of the year
• Deliver high-quality live and virtual professional development sessions to drive engagement and usage of IXL
• Analyze and use data to drive decision‑making and strategize next steps
• Partner with the Sales team to effectively manage and grow customer relationships, including supporting districts piloting IXL and other pre‑sales opportunities
