Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in Temple, Texas to support patient care within the VA system. The role involves focused patient assessments, medication administration, and education for patients and families, working closely with RNs and physicians.

Formación

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the State and/or ACEN accreditation.
• Active, full, valid LPN/LVN license in the U.S. (or District of Columbia)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to document and communicate patient care clearly and accurately
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a nursing team and follow policies

Responsabilidades

• Perform focused assessments and report abnormal findings to the Charge Nurse or RN Team Leader.
• Administer prescribed medications and document administration and patient response.
• Provide patient and family education on care plans and medications.
• Record vital signs, observe patient condition, and communicate changes promptly.
• Assist with nursing duties and coordinate with the RN/MD as needed
