Veterans Health Administration, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support outpatient and clinic services. The role includes medication administration, patient assessment, and documentation within VA policies.

Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP); applicants must meet VA requirements and submit an EDRP application within four months of appointment. Work primarily at El Paso VA Healthcare System facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the state agency or NLNAC accreditation.
• Full active, current, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
• English language proficiency per VA standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care within the scope of the LPN/LVN license.
• Administer medications via oral, topical, IM, IV as allowed by local policy.
• document patient status and response to treatment in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with RN/MD to coordinate care and ensure safety.
