Job summary

Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is seeking a Therapist, Eating Disorder Lead (Licensed or Associate) in San Francisco, CA. This role focuses on psychotherapy for LGBTQIA+ clients, with duties in EDO program development and integrated care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of social work or marriage & family therapy with a master’s degree, or a school of psychology with a PsyD/PhD.
• California license (LCSW, LMFT or PsyD/PhD), or working toward licensure.
• Clinical experience in eating disorder (EDO) field.
• Committed to gender-affirming health care and care for underserved populations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental health/substance use disorders in individual sessions under supervision.
• Maintains a therapy caseload and supports EDO recovery caseload.
• Facilitates group therapy and coordinates with a dietitian for meal planning.
• Develops program policies and procedures for the EDO team and engages in QA activities.
• Completes gender-affirming procedure assessments and letters of support as needed.
