Qualifications

• Able to read, comprehend, and execute directions from mechanical drawings.
• Able to measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates EDM sinker machines to produce fasteners per specifications.
• Troubleshoots and corrects machine issues; determines and plans operations for each job.
• Positions and secures workpieces and electrodes; adjusts voltage, current, feed rate as per charts.
• Inspects fasteners with precision gauges to ensure conformance to drawings.
• Reads blueprints and job orders for specifications and tooling instructions.
