Qualifications

• Able to read, comprehend, and execute directions from mechanical drawings.
• Able to measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications using calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot EDM sinkers to produce fasteners per specifications.
• Position and secure work piece on machine table using clamps, vise, or fixtures.
• Verify dimensions and conformance by reading blueprints and using measuring devices.
• Adjust machine settings (voltage, current, frequency, electrode feed) based on charts/procedures.
• Identify and correct improper machine function or notify supervisor of major malfunctions.
• Read router/OP drawings for specifications and tooling instructions.
• Select tooling and inspection gauges and perform quality checks.
