Responsibilities

• Operating and setting up Wire EDM machines to produce precision parts.
• Using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and height gauges to ensure the accuracy of work.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, process documentation, and work instructions to understand job requirements.
• Performing regular maintenance tasks such as replacing wire, filters, dielectric fluid, and other EDM consumables as required.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the EDM process to maintain productivity and quality.
• Collaborating with the engineering and quality assurance teams to improve processes and product quality.
• Adhering to safety protocols and promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Minimum of three (3) years of machining experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of Wire EDM setup and operation experience is preferred.
• Proficient in using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Experience in performing maintenance tasks such as replacing wire, filters, dielectric fluid, and other EDM consumables.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
