Job summary

NyproMold is seeking a skilled EDM Operator to join our precision tooling team. This role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining Sinker EDM equipment to produce high-precision mold components that meet exact specifications and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, interpret CAD drawings, and ensure accurate electrode setups while maintaining production records and complying with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EDM operating experience.
• Experience in mold manufacturing or precision machining environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Sinker EDM machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and process sheets.
• Perform electrode setup, alignment, and burn operations.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust offsets as needed.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain required documentation and production records.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Work collaboratively with Toolmakers, Programmers, and Engineering teams.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Position Summary

NyproMold is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDM Operator to join our precision tooling team. The EDM Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining EDM equipment to produce high-precision mold components that meet exact specifications and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in supporting our mold manufacturing operations by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
