Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an SEDM Applications Engineer to operate, program and optimize electrical discharge machinery in customer environments. The role focuses on independent problem solving, on-site troubleshooting, and delivering effective training to customers in production settings.

Responsibilities include reviewing applications, coordinating with team members, and supporting sales through demonstrations and opportunities for additional machine usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience operating, programming, setting up and developing processes for electrical discharge machinery.
• Ability to train customers on production processes to improve machinery performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills with independent judgment.
• Experience identifying customer opportunities and contributing to sales.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve application-related problems at customer sites to improve EDM performance.
• Provide timely responses and coordinate with MC Machinery teammates as needed.
• Diagnose problems and troubleshoot via phone or on-site visits.
• Deliver high-quality training to customers on machine usage and optimization.
• Support marketing and sales efforts with demonstrations and test cuts.
