Job summary

MC Machinery is seeking a Customer Applications Engineer for Sinker EDM to analyze, optimize, and demonstrate high power processing techniques. You will be pivotal in improving quality, cycle time, and operator confidence through targeted demonstrations and on-machine testing.

Starting with discovery and fixture/a electrode reviews, you will refine strategies, validate with on-machine testing, and coordinate with North America teams on marketing activities to secure new opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience operating, programming, setting up, and developing EDM processes.

Responsibilities

Independently analyze and resolve application-related issues to improve Sinker EDM performance.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer reports; engage additional MC Machinery resources when appropriate.
Create innovative, practical solutions using sound judgment and deep applications knowledge.
Provide remote diagnostics and troubleshooting via telephone.
Identify opportunities that drive sales revenue; execute persuasive demos and test cuts for prospects.
Deliver and design customer training—including high power processing—to optimize machine use; occasionally train internal staff.
Document findings and communicate strategies clearly with customers and teammates.
