Job summary

Finom is seeking a Head of Editorial to own the words across the Finom experience. You will lead the copywriting team, develop standards, and set an editorial AI strategy to improve generation, drafting and checks.

You’ll own English source material and align with localization partners to lift quality globally. You’ll shape the tone, build a style guide, and establish an editorial review layer to ensure error-free publication and strong conversion across marketing, product and lifecycle

Qualifications

• Evidence of leading editorial standards or managing writers.
• Experience producing high-volume marketing and conversion copy in a fast-moving tech/digital environment.
• Native level English with exceptional written command.
• Proven AI fluency in an editorial context (policy, checking, quality gates).
• Track record building editorial standards, style guides, or review processes.
• Experience developing writers who measurably improved.
• Ability to work across marketing and product surfaces.
• Based in an eligible EU location, the UK or Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Own the words across the Finom experience: standard, voice, final read.
• Build and own the style guide, and drive adoption beyond the Editorial team.
• Establish editorial review layer with criteria and quality gates.
• Lead and develop copywriting team with feedback and hiring as growth demands.
• Own Finom's editorial AI strategy: when to generate, draft, check, and where not to.
• Write personally on key projects, campaigns and launches.
• Coordinate across lifecycle, web, paid and social for consistency.
• Partner with Product to preserve brand voice inside product.
• Work with localisation to lift English source quality across markets.
• Make copy work commercially: tighten, sharpen and test for conversion.
• Build intake and prioritisation to serve rising demand without slipping.
