Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking an Editor to create and maintain editorial features across content channels (news, sports, finance, lifestyle, entertainment) and platforms (Web, mobile, TV). You will curate packages, write engaging copy, and coordinate with feeds/partners to produce appealing outputs.

Hybrid role in Philadelphia with 3 months’ duration and a compensation range of $20–$22 per hour. Not a full-time writing position, with some off-hours and holiday shifts required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or Communication preferred.

Location: Hybrid - 4 days/wk onsite in Philadelphia
Type: W2 Contract
Duration: 3 months (with strong potential to extend)
Compensation Range: $20-22/HR
Our client is in need of an Editor to create and maintain editorial features across various content channels (news, sports, finance, lifestyle, entertainment, TV, etc) and across media platforms (Web, mobile, TV). We need someone who can write snappy, interesting copy, and curate interesting content packages that include a mix of media types. While there are opportunities for long-form writing and blogging, this is not a full-time writing position. This editor will serve as a curator and creator of content, taking the content we already have from feeds and partners, and producing the most appealing packages possible.

Responsibilities

• Oversee editorial feature creation, editorial partner relationships and programming of related content areas
• Support the editorial team managing the TV vertical (includes kids/family, music, and seasonal/topical "stands" like Halloween, holidays, and Valentine's Day across TV and movies).
• Curate collections, manage release schedules using the premieres dates calendar, determine programming, and analyze data insights.
• Program content using internal Content Management Systems (CMS) across two platform environments.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) directly on the live platform following a short delay after CMS entry.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Experience working with CMS or content publishing platforms. Backgrounds in digital publishing or computer science/technical fields perform well.
• Soft Skills & Work Style:
• Self-starter capable of taking ownership quickly with minimal hand holding.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to keep pace with rapid platform updates.
• Passion for entertainment and cultural trends, with a natural interest in what audiences are watching and discussing.
• Requirements:
• Stellar communication skills with attention to detail, spelling, grammar and clarity.
• Can write creative and engaging copy that makes people want more.
• Experience with content management systems and analytic tools.
• Interest in current events.
• Basic Photoshop editing skills.
• Must be a creative thinker who is comfortable in group discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Will require some off-hours and holiday shifts.
• Bachelor's degree (Journalism, English or Communication majors preferred), or equivalent experience.
