The New York Times is looking for an editor to help lead our teams across our flagship social accounts and search, with a focus on weekend programming. A successful candidate for this role will bring expertise in all things audience growth off-platform, including search and social platforms as well as emerging ones, a strong sense of news judgment and audience signals, as well as a keen eye for off-platform photos, graphics and videos.
The editor will help establish a vision for shaping and targeting our journalism for different platforms to ensure that the full breadth of Times journalism finds audiences on weekends. This person will work Wednesday through Sunday.
