Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional editing or research-writing experience.
• Excellent copy-editing skills and sharp eye for structure, logic and tone.
• Experience editing non-native English writers and AP style knowledge.
• Energy/geopolitics sector experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, political science, international relations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Line and content editing of analyst-written content for clarity and tone.
• Collaborate with analysts to strengthen writing and provide feedback.
• Maintain Horizon Engage's house style (AP style) across deliverables.
• Perform final quality checks before publication or client delivery.
• Light photo editing for visual presentation of reports.
