Job summary

John Wiley & Sons Inc. seeks an Editor-in-Chief, Education to lead strategic development of the Education portfolio, raising journal visibility and attracting high-quality submissions.

You will leverage your educational research background and publishing insights to shape editorial standards and ethics. You will oversee manuscript evaluation, peer review, and decisions, build global networks of researchers, and represent Wiley at conferences and through outreach with universities and institutes

Qualifications

• PhD in educational research with a strong publication background.
• Manuscript handling experience including peer review and editorial decisions.
• Experience commissioning topics and guiding authors through to submission.
• Strong global networks within research communities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality submissions through international networks.
• Strategically develop journals within the Education portfolio.
• Maintain a global network of authors, reviewers, and editors.
