At Winning Her Way, we aim to revolutionize the perception and value of female athletes, especially young girls, in the sports world. By creating a dynamic platform, we share their inspiring stories through cutting-edge content and provide real economic opportunities, such as potential ownership of sports teams. Our agency connects female athletes with brands for NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) and sponsorship opportunities. Additionally, we are launching a marketplace dedicated solely to women’s sports, offering gear, apparel, and equipment tailored for female athletes. Our goal is to spotlight women in sports, giving them the recognition they deserve, and building a community to change the game for the next generation.

Role Description

This is an internship role for a remote Editor in Chief. The Editor in Chief will be responsible for overseeing the creation and curation of content, managing editorial calendars, editing and proofreading articles, and developing content strategies. Additionally, they will collaborate with content creators, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality impactful publications, and participate in digital marketing efforts to promote the platform's content.

Qualifications

• Strong editing, proofreading, and writing skills
• Experience in content strategy development and management
• Ability to manage editorial calendars and deadlines
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Understanding of digital marketing principles
• Passion for women's sports and empowering female athletes
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Prior experience in journalism, editorial roles, or related fields is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field is preferred
