Job summary

BlockReel in Atlanta is seeking an entry-level Editor for an upcoming web series, a dark comedy set in a quirky office environment. You will assemble raw footage, input music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and collaborate with the director to shape tone and pace.

Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred. Please share a reel or samples; this paid role pays $500-800 per day for 3-4 weeks starting around October 19, 2026, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Entry-level editing experience or strong reel/curriculum demonstrating editing ability.
• Good sense of pacing, rhythm, and comedic timing.
• Ability to work with director and other team members to shape tone and pace.

Responsibilities

• Assemble raw footage into a coherent cut.
• Input music, dialogue, graphics, and basic effects.
• Collaborate closely with the director to achieve desired tone and pace.
• Manage timelines and organize project files to support post-production workflow.
• Deliver final cuts that meet creative and technical standards.
