Job summary

BlockReel in Atlanta is seeking an entry-level Editor for an upcoming web series, a dark comedy set in a quirky office environment. You will assemble raw footage, input music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and collaborate with the director to shape tone and pace.

Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred. Please share a reel or samples; this paid role pays $500-800 per day for 3-4 weeks starting around October 19, 2026, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

An independent production is seeking an entry-level Editor for an upcoming web series, a dark comedy exploring quirky characters in a bizarre office environment. We're looking for someone with a fresh perspective and a strong sense of comedic timing to help shape our story. You'll be responsible for assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogue, graphics, and effects, and collaborating with the director to achieve the desired tone and pace. We are looking for an individual with proficiency in industry-standard editing software, preferably DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. Please provide a link to your reel or relevant work samples. This is a paid position, offering $500-800 per day, depending on experience. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of post-production work, beginning around October 19, 2026, with flexible hours. We will provide all necessary footage and project files; however, having your own editing workstation is a plus. This is a great opportunity to gain significant experience on a fun, independent project in the Atlanta area.
