Job summary

CGS is seeking an eDiscovery Technician to support the legal organization within a Federal agency. Based in Los Angeles with remote and hybrid options, you will log productions, review cover letters, verify load readiness, scan for viruses, and coordinate processing of documents across Relativity.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of eDiscovery experience, a BA/BS, strong analytical and communication skills, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree with additional relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Knowledge of information resources
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Experience managing multiple tasks as described in duties
• U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System
• Digest cover letters and describe production quality
• Obtain passwords from producers when media is encrypted
• Determine if materials qualify for loading into Relativity
• Virus scan productions off-network with multiple tools
• Address issues or reject productions per protocol
• Copy cleaned productions to the Agency's network
• Follow protocols for handling documents (e.g., whistleblower, RFPA, MOUs, international, BSA, audio files)
• Analyze productions to determine processing requirements and completeness
• Monitor for incoming productions via email and FTP
• Scan and OCR paper documents for Relativity loading
• Coordinate off-site scanning for multiple boxes of paper
