Job summary

UST in Seattle seeks a Senior EDI Support Specialist with strong Healthcare Payer experience to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise EDI platforms covering Claims, Membership, Enrolment, Provider, and Payment functions.

You will monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions, support Edifecs, TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk, and Facets environments, and perform RCA, incident resolution, and production improvements while collaborating with trading partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience
• 5+ years Healthcare Payer & EDI experience
• 3+ years Edifecs/TriZetto HIPAA Gateway experience
• Hands-on support and optimization of EDI transaction processing (e.g., 834, 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278, 820, TA1, 999, 277CA)

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for EDI platforms used in Claims, Membership, Enrolment, Billing, Provider, and Payment functions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transaction failures, rejects, reconciliation, and file transmission issues.
• Support Edifecs, TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk, and Facets-integrated environments.
• Perform root-cause analysis, incident resolution, and transaction performance improvements.
• Support trading partner onboarding, certification, testing, and production releases.
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, and external trading partners to resolve operational issues.

EDI Support Specialist

The Role

UST is searching for a Senior EDI Support Specialist with strong Healthcare Payer experience to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise EDI platforms supporting Claims, Membership, Enrolment, Provider, and Payment functions.

What You'll Do

• Provide L2/L3 support for EDI platforms supporting Claims, Membership, Enrolment, Billing, Provider, and Payment functions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI transaction failures, rejects, reconciliation, and file transmission issues
• Support Edifecs, TriZetto HIPAA Gateway, BizTalk, and Facets-integrated environments
• Perform RCA, incident resolution, and transaction performance improvements
• Support trading partner onboarding, certification, testing, and production releases
• Work with business users, vendors, and external trading partners to resolve operational issues

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range:

$72,000-$108,000

• Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
