Job summary

Elsdon Group seeks an experienced EDI SAP B2B Integration Developer to design, build, and support robust B2B integration solutions across cloud, SaaS and on-prem environments.

You will lead end-to-end integration life cycle—from requirements gathering and data mapping to testing and production support—specializing in SAP iDocs, Informatica CDI/PowerCenter, and standard EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in EDI, B2B integration, and enterprise data mapping.
• SAP iDocs, ALE/EDI configuration, and IDoc structure parsing/troubleshooting.
• Advanced expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services / B2B Data Exchange).
• Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards, with secure transports (AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS APIs).
• Experience integrating cloud-hosted applications and SaaS tools using RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON/XML payloads.
• Diagnostic skills for tracking transaction failures across multi-tier cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, map, test, and deploy end-to-end B2B/EDI interfaces connecting cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems.
• Build and manage inbound/outbound SAP iDoc interfaces (ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV, ORDRSP) and translate to standard EDI formats.
• Utilize Informatica tools to build, orchestrate, and optimize ETL and data transformation workflows.
• Partner with internal business units and external vendors to onboard new trading partners (AS2, SFTP, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Develop scalable API- and event-driven integrations between SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow) and core systems.
• Monitor EDI transactions, perform root-cause analysis on failures, maintain high availability across pipelines.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced EDI SAP B2B Integration Developer to design, build, and support robust B2B integration solutions. You will specialize in integrating core ERP platforms (SAP) with external trading partners using Informatica, SaaS integration tools, and native EDI/iDoc standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Architecture & Development: Design, map, test, and deploy end-to-end B2B/EDI interfaces connecting cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems.
• SAP & iDoc Integration: Build and manage inbound/outbound SAP iDoc interfaces (e.g., ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV, ORDRSP) and translate them to standard EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT).
• Informatica Ecosystem Management: Utilize Informatica tools (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Cloud Data Integration / B2B Data Exchange) to build, orchestrate, and optimize complex ETL and data transformation workflows.
• Trading Partner Onboarding: Partner with internal business units and external vendors/customers to define specifications, establish communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, REST/SOAP APIs), and onboard new trading partners.
• Cloud & SaaS Connectors: Develop scalable API- and event-driven integrations between SaaS platforms (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow) and core enterprise systems.
• Monitoring & Support: Proactively monitor EDI transactions, perform root-cause analysis on failure logs/iDoc errors, and maintain high availability across all production pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in EDI, B2B integration, and enterprise data mapping.
• SAP Expertise: Deep technical experience working with SAP iDocs, ALE/EDI configuration, and IDoc structure parsing/troubleshooting.
• ETL & Middleware: Advanced expertise in Informatica (PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services / B2B Data Exchange).
• EDI Standards & Protocols: Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards, alongside secure transport protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS APIs).
• Cloud & SaaS: Hands-on experience integrating cloud-hosted applications and SaaS tools using RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and JSON/XML payloads.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent diagnostic skills for tracking transaction failures across multi-tiered cloud architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) or SAP Integration.
• Background in cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation.
